Thank you for visiting my website.
I’m Hakan Yurdakul, the developer behind Rockheyday. I hold a BSc in Physics and began my career as a private Mathematics tutor. After working as a technical support engineer for Intel hardware products, I transitioned into software development and later specialized in audio programming. Most recently, I worked as an audio programmer at Frontier Developments in Cambridge, UK.
Through Rockheyday, I develop DSP plugins and audio software with a focus on musical sound, efficient processing, and practical workflows. My interests span digital signal processing, audio software engineering, mathematics, and the evolving role of AI in audio technology. Alongside software development, I compose orchestral music, which helps shape the way I design and evaluate the tools I create.
